Quick answer
All-inclusive guests miss the hotel lunch on a boat day. We explain which of our trips include a meal on board, which don't, and how to plan food around a day on the water — with a simple lunch-included vs bring-your-own vs eat-after table. Honest, and always check the tour page.
If you're on all-inclusive and book a boat day, you'll usually be out during the hotel's lunch service, so you won't eat there. Some of our boat trips in Side include a meal on board and some don't — it depends on the tour. Check the tour page before you book, and if food isn't included, eat a solid breakfast and bring a little cash.
The honest answer: a boat day and the hotel buffet rarely line up
We run shared and private boats across Side, Manavgat, Antalya, Alanya, Belek and Kemer. Most trips leave in the morning and bring you back in the afternoon or evening. That window covers the middle of the day, which is exactly when your hotel serves lunch. So on a boat day you'll almost always miss the buffet you've already paid for. That's not a problem to solve so much as a thing to plan around, and it's easy once you know how each trip handles food.
The important part: whether lunch is included depends on the individual tour. Some of our boats serve a cooked meal on board; others are shorter trips where you're expected to eat before or after. We won't tell you a set menu here because it varies by boat and by season — the tour page is where you confirm what's included.
Which of our trips tend to include food — and which don't
As a rough guide, our full-day trips are more likely to include a meal on board, and our shorter sea trips are more likely to be food-free. This isn't a hard rule, so treat it as a starting point and read the specific page.
- Green Canyon freshwater lake cruises — a full day out on the lake. Meals on board are common on this style of trip; confirm on the Green Canyon boat tour page.
- Island and Suluada sea trips — longer days on warmer salt water. Some include a meal, some don't.
- Pirate and family sea trips — often a few hours of swimming and sailing; food is not always part of it.
- Fishing trips and disco-yacht nights — food arrangements vary a lot by boat and time of day.
- Private yachts and gulets — catering is arranged to what you ask for when you book.
Because our fleet covers a lot of different trips, the only reliable way to know is the page for the tour you want. If you're not sure, message us and we'll tell you straight.
Lunch-included vs bring-your-own vs eat-after: a simple comparison
Here's how the three realistic options stack up so you can pick before you leave the hotel.
| Option | Best for | What to do | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meal included on board | Full-day trips (e.g. Green Canyon, some island days) | Eat a normal breakfast; the boat handles lunch. Tell us any dietary needs when you book. | Confirm it's actually included on the tour page — don't assume from the trip type. |
| Bring your own | Shorter sea trips with no catering | Pack a wrapped snack or sandwich and water; bring a little cash for drinks on board. | No fridge or cooking on most boats; keep it simple and non-messy. |
| Eat before / eat after | Half-day trips near your hotel's meal times | Load up at the hotel breakfast; have a late lunch or early dinner back at the hotel. | Ask your hotel if they'll hold a plate or offer a snack point for guests out on excursions. |
If you'd rather not gamble on timing, a full-day trip with a meal on board is the tidiest choice — you get a proper day out and food is taken care of. Browse the options and check what each one includes over on our boat trips page.
How the pickup works, so you can plan your food
Guests are picked up from their hotel in the morning; the exact time is confirmed the day before and varies from hotel to hotel. That's genuinely all we can promise on timing here — pickup depends on where you're staying and which trip you're on, so we don't publish per-hotel clock times because they'd be wrong for half of you.
What this means for lunch: you'll typically be leaving after breakfast and returning some time in the afternoon or evening. Eat a full breakfast either way. If your trip doesn't include a meal, that breakfast plus a snack will carry you comfortably until you're back.
Booking, paying and drinks on the day
You book online and pay on the tour day. Drinks are usually pay-on-board, so bring a little cash even on trips where a meal is included — you'll likely want water, a soft drink or something stronger while you're out. This is worth knowing on an all-inclusive holiday, because drinks that are free at the hotel are not free on the boat, and that catches people out.
Approximate 2026 starting prices, per person and as bands only — the live price is always on the tour page: sea trips from around EUR 20–25, Green Canyon from around EUR 28–54, and Suluada from around EUR 42–68. Private trips are priced per boat on request. Take a look at what suits you on the tours page.
Special diets: tell us when you book
If you're vegetarian, vegan, halal or gluten-free, or you have an allergy, tell us when you book and we pass it to the specific boat. We won't print a fixed menu or promise particular dishes here, because it depends on the boat and the day — but flagging it in advance is exactly how we make sure you're looked after. If your requirement is strict (a serious allergy, for example), confirm the details with us and on the tour page before the day, and it's sensible to bring a backup snack you know is safe.
Where you're staying changes the maths
Because we run boats from several bases, your resort affects how tightly a boat day clashes with hotel meals and how long you're travelling. If you're staying near Side, our departures there are the most convenient — see everything on the tours from Side hub. Guests further along the coast in Alanya, Belek, Antalya or Kemer have trips leaving nearer to them too, which keeps the day shorter and makes it easier to catch an early dinner back at the hotel.
A popular gentle option for all-inclusive guests who don't want a long day is our Side relax boat trip with waterfall — a calmer trip where you can plan food around your hotel's meal times without much fuss.
What to bring for the day
Whatever the food situation, pack the same short list: swimwear, a towel, sun cream, a hat and a little cash. One thing worth knowing about the swimming: the water at Green Canyon is cold freshwater, while the sea is warmer salt water. Neither is a problem — just don't expect the lake to feel like the Mediterranean.
- Swimwear and a towel
- Sun cream and a hat
- A little cash for drinks and extras
- A snack if your trip doesn't include a meal
- Any dietary note already sent to us at booking
Frequently asked questions
Do all your boat trips include lunch?
No. Some do and some don't — it depends on the specific tour, with full-day trips more likely to include a meal on board and shorter sea trips more likely not to. Always check the individual tour page, or ask us, before you book.
I'm all-inclusive — should I eat before the trip?
Yes, have a full hotel breakfast regardless of which trip you've booked. If your tour doesn't include a meal, that breakfast plus a packed snack will see you through until you're back for a late lunch or early dinner.
Can I bring my own food on board?
On trips without catering, yes — a wrapped snack or sandwich and some water is sensible. Most boats have no fridge or cooking facilities, so keep it simple and easy to eat. Drinks are usually available to buy on board.
Will my hotel refund the lunch I miss?
That's up to your hotel, not us — we can't promise anything there. Many hotels will offer a snack point or hold something for guests out on excursions, so it's worth asking at reception the evening before your trip.
How do I tell you about a dietary requirement?
Add it when you book and we pass it to the boat you're travelling on. We won't promise specific dishes in advance, so for strict allergies confirm the details with us beforehand and consider bringing a safe backup snack.
Ready to pick a trip?
A boat day is one of the best things you'll do on this coast, and the food side is simple once you've checked what your chosen trip includes. Pick the tour, read what's covered, tell us any dietary needs, and eat a good breakfast. When you're ready, browse the full range and book your boat trip — we'll confirm your pickup the day before and see you on the water.
