The fun starts before you even reach the water. An air-conditioned vehicle collects you straight from your Alanya hotel and drops you at the lively harbour tucked beneath the ancient castle, where the Starcraft is already waiting — masts high, pirate rigging flapping, ready to set sail. As the engines rumble and the gangway lifts, the city and its proud Red Tower slip quietly behind you. Ahead lies nothing but the endless blue of the Mediterranean, and the ship cruises past Alanya's most photographed shores: Cleopatra Beach, the mysterious Pirates Cave and the softly glowing Phosphorus Cave. At each sheltered bay the anchor drops and the sea calls you in. Leap from the deck, snorkel over rocky shallows, or simply float in water so clear you can count the pebbles below.
