Your Suluada adventure begins with a comfortable, air-conditioned pickup from your hotel in the Side area, gliding south along the coast to the little fishing town of Adrasan while the morning is still cool and golden. From Adrasan harbour the boat casts off and the open Mediterranean unfolds in front of you. Before long you reach Suluada itself — a tiny uninhabited island ringed by sand so pale and water so impossibly turquoise that everyone on board reaches for their camera. This is why people call it the Turkish Maldives, and no photo quite does it justice. You'll drop anchor in the island's sheltered bays for long, unhurried swimming stops. Float in the shallows, snorkel over the rocks, or paddle across to the famous Love Cave — no rush, and none of the crowds of the busier day trips. Back on deck a freshly cooked lunch is served: grilled fish or chicken with rice or pasta, a spread of homemade Turkish mezes, a crisp seasonal salad, and sweet fruit with Turkish tea to finish. As the afternoon softens you'll cruise back to Adrasan, pleasantly tired, before the easy transfer returns you to your hotel. It's a longer day than a standard Side boat trip — and that's the whole point: more sea, more sand, and more of the coastline most visitors never get to see.
