Some days on the water stay with you for a lifetime, and a quiet morning of fishing off the Side coast is exactly that kind of day. A comfortable air-conditioned vehicle collects you from your hotel around 07:00 and carries you down to the harbour, where our purpose-built fishing boat is already waiting. We keep numbers deliberately small, with a maximum of just 12 guests, so there is room to breathe, stretch out on deck, and get real one-on-one time with the captain. As we ease away from the shore into the open Mediterranean, breakfast is served: a traditional Turkish simit and a glass of freshly brewed hot tea, enjoyed with the coastline slipping past. Whether you have fished your whole life or have never held a rod before, this trip is built for a catch. Every piece of professional tackle, line and fresh bait comes aboard with us, and the captain knows exactly where the fish are hiding. Once we drop anchor over the right ground, the fun begins. The Mediterranean is alive beneath the hull, and there is a real thrill the moment you feel that first tug. From small, colourful species to some surprisingly hefty catches, our captain is right beside you to bait the hook, help you reel in, and handle the fish safely. Beyond the fishing, this is simply a lovely way to leave the crowds behind and soak up the calm of the open sea. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and cold drinks, and refreshing beverages are also on sale on board. After a rewarding morning of catches and sea air, we cruise gently back to the harbour and our transfer returns you to your hotel between 12:30 and 13:00, with the whole afternoon still ahead of you.
