Quick answer
Cruise Side's tranquil river out to the open Mediterranean, swim where cold freshwater meets warm sea, and sail to Dolphin Island for a chance to spot wild dolphins and sea turtles.
Some days on the water simply refuse to be forgotten, and this one starts the moment a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle collects you from your hotel. You reach the boat in good time for a 10:00 departure, then glide out along the calm river as the coastline slips gently by. Where the river opens into the sea at the Bogaz river mouth, we drop anchor for the first swim of the day. Here you get a rare choice: cool off in the ice-cold freshwater or float in the warm, salty Mediterranean, just a few strokes apart. While you dry off, a freshly grilled lunch of chicken, rice or pasta, crisp salad and bread is served right there on deck. With lunch behind us we head into open water and cruise toward Dolphin Island (Yunus Adasi), dropping anchor for another long, lazy swim. These waters are home to wild dolphins and protected Caretta Caretta sea turtles, so on a lucky day you may see them gliding past while you relax in the crystal-clear blue. The voyage home is where the party begins. One last swim, then the music comes up and the deck turns into a foam party under the sun. Dance the whole way back or simply lean into the sea breeze; either way we reach the harbour between 16:30 and 17:00, and our vehicles carry you back to your hotel with a smile on your face.
